By accessing and using Buy & Charter ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

Service Description

Buy & Charter provides an AI-powered Tier 1 Assessment that evaluates whether charter-supported boat ownership may be suitable for your circumstances. The assessment is an informational tool and does not constitute financial, legal, or professional advice.

Access and Payment

Access to a Tier 1 Assessment may be obtained in one of the following ways:

• Single Assessment — $9 USD: A one-time payment grants access to run one assessment. This payment is non-refundable once the assessment has been generated and delivered.
• Monthly Subscription — $25 USD/month: Provides unlimited assessments for the duration of your active subscription. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time and will not automatically renew after the current billing period ends.
• Promo Code: A valid, active promo code may be redeemed in exchange for access to one assessment at no charge.

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. No payment card information is stored on our servers.

Subscriber Access and Verification

When you access the Service as a subscriber, we verify your identity using an email-based one-time verification code. A 6-digit code is sent to your subscription email address. You must enter this code to gain access. Verification codes are single-use, expire after a short period, and cannot be transferred or reused.

Account Security and Prohibited Sharing

Your subscription is personal to you and is tied to the email address used at the time of purchase. You may not share your subscription, email address, or verification codes with other individuals. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to any subscription where misuse or unauthorised sharing is identified.

Promo Code Terms

• Each promo code may only be redeemed once per email address
• Promo codes are non-transferable and have no cash value
• We reserve the right to deactivate any promo code at any time without notice
• Attempting to circumvent single-use limits is a violation of these Terms

Email Communications

When you provide your email address, we use it only to send service-related communications: your assessment results, payment receipts, subscription confirmations, verification codes, and essential service updates. We do not send marketing emails as part of using the Service.

Disclaimer

The assessment results are generated by AI and are for informational purposes only. Buy & Charter is not a broker, financial advisor, or chartered professional body. We make no guarantees about the accuracy or completeness of assessment results. You should always seek independent professional advice before making significant financial decisions.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Buy & Charter shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our service or reliance on assessment results.

Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
